Plant Types

The module PlantTypes.jl include type definitions and specific methods for structures that form a Solar Tower plant. These include heliostats, ...

Heliostats

Heliostats are represented by data structures that include information on the size, the position, the orientations and the optical quality of the Heliostat. This data structure is initialized using as argments, the sun position, the position of the heliostat and of the tower that is is aiming to, its size and its optical quality

NSPOC.PlantTypes.HeliostatType
Heliostat(sp::SunPosition{T}, Xh::Vec3D{T}, Xt::Vec3D{T}, L::NTuple{2,T}, sig::T, phi::T=zero(T)) where {T}

Returns a data structure with information on the position and orientation of an heliostat. The arguments are

  • sp: The position of the Sun (see(@SunPosition)).
  • Xh: X,Y,Z coordinates of the position of the center of the heliostat.
  • Xt: X,Y,Z coordinates of the position of the target in the tower.
  • L=(Lx,Ly): The size of the Heliostat
  • sig: Optical error of the heliostat
  • phi: Angle of the heliostat X axes with the ground
